Welcome to the MVACS Live Downlink page!

This is your starting-point to view full-resolution images from the surface of Mars as they are being received.

During the first few days of the mission, the lander will communicate directly with the Earth via its medium-gain antenna. We will let you know when to expect live downlink as soon as the spacecraft team has established communications and the explorationg begins! Please stay tuned until then.

You may connect with the Live Image Downlink display at any time. If you are connecting during session already in progress, then live images will be displayed on your screen as soon as they are available. If you are connecting between active sessions, then the last available image will be displayed, and you will be notified when the next live downlink is expected. The live dowlink will start automatically when the next images are received.

Additional streaming live content from NASA TV and the UCLA Mars Science Operations Facility are available from our Partner Web Sites.
