Peter Thomas
Peter Thomas is a member of the research staff at the Center for Radiophysics and Space Physics at Cornell University. He received his Ph.D in geology from Cornell. He is a member of the Galileo, Cassini, Mars Global Surveyor, NEAR, Mars Polar Lander (descent imager), and CONTOUR (comet mission) imaging teams.
Dr. Thomas' research interest are in the shapes of irregular objects such as asteroids and small satellites, and the origin, evolution, and implications of eolian features on Mars.
